2.1What is the Review Link?
Your Essential Tool for Gathering Feedback
The review link is essentially your tool for gathering feedback from your customers. Your aim is to share this link with everyone who visits your business. It's the cornerstone of how you'll collect reviews and manage your online reputation.
How It Works
When your clients click on your review link, they'll be directed to a page where you're requesting their feedback. This isn't just any ordinary review page - it's an intelligent system designed to protect your reputation while gathering valuable insights.
The Smart Experience Filter
The page features an experience filter that sorts customers based on their satisfaction level. If a customer rates you with one, two, or three stars, they'll be guided to provide private feedback. Here, they'll enter their name, email, phone number, and feedback text that only you will see.
Managing Private Feedback
You'll manage these private comments from the reviews section of the platform. This gives you the opportunity to address concerns privately before they become public reviews. It's a chance to turn an unhappy customer into a satisfied one.
The Positive Experience Path
On the other hand, if customers have a positive experience and click on four or five stars, they'll be prompted to leave a public review on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google, Yelp, or any custom link you've set up. This ensures your best reviews go public while you handle negative feedback privately.
2.2Customization Options
Complete Flexibility
You have the flexibility to customize every aspect of the review link to match your brand and preferences. This isn't a one-size-fits-all solution - you can tailor it exactly to your needs.
Customizing Your Review Link URL
You can customize the end of your review link URL to make it more recognizable and on-brand. However, keep in mind that changing the URL means the previous URL and any QR code linked to it will no longer redirect to your review link. For this reason, we strongly recommend finalizing your custom URL before printing any materials with the QR code.
Branding Your Page
You can change your logo to make the page feel like a natural extension of your business. This helps customers recognize they're in the right place and increases trust in the review process.
Adjusting the Experience Filter
If you prefer, you can turn off the experience filter entirely. This directs everyone to the same page where they have the choice to leave either public reviews or private feedback. Some businesses prefer this approach for complete transparency.
Customizing the Rating Threshold
You can adjust the rating threshold to match your standards. For instance, you might decide that only five-star clicks lead to public reviews, while one to four-star clicks result in private feedback. This gives you even more control over what becomes public.
Managing Review Sites
You have the option to activate or deactivate specific sites from the sites section. If you don't want to direct customers to certain platforms, simply turn them off. You can also add unlimited custom links to your review link page for any review platforms we don't already integrate with.
AI Review Suggestion
When enabled, customers who don't know what to write will see a "Not sure what to write?" option on the review sites page. This opens an AI-powered form where they rate up to 5 evaluation criteria you define from 1 to 5, add optional comments, and hit "Generate review". The AI creates a ready-made review they can copy and publish on any connected review site.
Advanced Options
You also have advanced options available, such as disabling branding or the requirement for personal data consent on the negative experience page. You can even turn off the public reviews request entirely by deactivating this feature if your strategy focuses solely on private feedback.
2.3Preview and Display Modes
Testing Before Going Live
Before you start sharing your review link with customers, you can preview it first by clicking the preview buttons. This lets you see exactly what your customers will experience when they click your link.
Kiosk Mode for In-Person Reviews
To engage clients in person, you can open the kiosk mode by selecting the QR code option. This leads to a page where clients can simply scan the QR code to access your review link right there in your business.
Using the QR Code
The QR code is perfect for in-person situations. Display it at your checkout counter, on table tents in a restaurant, or anywhere customers naturally pause during their visit. It makes leaving a review as simple as pulling out their phone.
Downloading for Marketing Materials
Alternatively, if you're looking to create some graphics for promotional materials, you can download the QR code. Use it on flyers, business cards, receipts, or any printed materials you give to customers.
Final Customization Check
Before sending review requests or displaying your QR code, ensure your review link is fully customized to represent your brand effectively. A well-designed review page increases the likelihood that customers will complete the review process.
